A-FRAME

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS

The dog must go over the frame as many times as possible in 1 minute. Each time the dog goes over the frame and the front legs touch the floor it counts for 1 point. The tournament Judge or Official will count the scores out loud and use a timer marked for 1 minute. It is advisable to record the sessions in video should recounting be required.

Every dog has 3 attempts to do the highest punctuation possible.

PUNCTUATION

A-Frame was designed to burn as much energy as possible as quickly as possible, and it does exactly that. The A-Frame actively tests the prey drive and persistence of the dog to catch the lure, as well as it’s agility, mobility, elasticity and muscular endurance.

With that said, the A-Frame has never been a popular practice with the breed in it's early history, and is mainly a modern method to evaluated the aforementioned qualities along with just having fun with the dog.

There is no Max Punctuation in this discipline; the dog can  continue to stack points if they exceed their Black Star
